Wicked Faire Hotel’s Group Rate Almost Sold Out

Aired: July 6th, 2010

There are seven months until the sixth Wicked Faire and already the hotel room is going fast! Jeff Mach, the founder and head operations of Wicked Faire, posted this morning on his Facebook saying “85% of group rate sold out.” This though is the group rate for the convention, room openings of none-claimed group rate rooms may still be available when the group rate is sold out.

If you are booking your room and the hotel is already sold out with normal  and group rates, there are alternative hotels in the area. The closet alternative is the Holiday Inn Somerset, across the street of exhibition center; a short 5-10 minute. Other alternatives include Crowne Plaza (15 minute walk), the Courtyard Marriott Somerset (15 minute walk), Hampton Inn Somerset (15 minute walk), Staybridge Suites (18 minute walk) and the furthest is Fairfield Inn (20 minute walk).

A reminder  about the time of year that Wicked Faire is held. On average in February, the temperatures are in the 30s and can reach to the teens at night. It is best to bring coats and boots in case if it snows!

Wicked Faire VI will be held at the DoubleTree Somerset hotel, where it was held in 2010. It will be on the weekend of February 18-20.
