Saboten Con, the largest anime convention in the Phoenix area, announced its round of guests for the upcoming sixth annual convention. Saboten Con will be held on August 31 – September 2 at the Renaissance Glendale Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona.
Please welcome our guest of honor Yūko Miyamura. In addition to being a very talented voice actress, she is an actress, J-pop singer and director of audiography. Her acting roles include the presenter in “Battle Royal”, voice roles in gaming include Chun Li and Rose in the Street Fighter Alpha and EX series, Larxene in the Kingdom Hearts series, and many more. She has provided the voices for so many characters in anime series, such as Kazuha Toyama in Detective Conan, Alyssa Searrs in My-Hime Aisha Clan-Clan in Outlaw Star and Casca in Berserk, and she is incredibly popular for her role as being the voice of Asuka in the Evangelion series.
I started making halloween costumes when I was young and I loved it so much I decided to make them all year round. In 1998 I made my first Link costume for the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Ever since then I have made costumes for lots of other characters like Zelda from Legend of Zelda, Marth from Fire Emblem, Cloud and Lightning from Final Fantasy, The Witch from Left 4 Dead, various Anime related characters and many more.
Maridah is a cosplayer who has enjoyed making and wearing cosplay to events for more than 12 years. In addition to cosplay, she is an avid anime figure, Dollfie Dream and BJD collector. Her cosplay has been featured in a number of print publications, both domestically and internationally, as well as on TV and online. Maridah is a Crunchyroll Ambassador and correspondent for AX Live.
“Christophe” Chris Tang is a convention favorite, known for his multi-talented accomplishments as a cosplayer, video game designer, and competitive gaming champion.
Born in the city to entertain the angels with 25 years of experience in the Music Industry and Film Production. Humbled by the miracle of nature. Impassioned by new technology.
Wearing many hats, Joe Romersa is a Multi-talented Musician, Singer, Writer of Music, Producer, Sound Engineer, Video Editor, Voice Over Talent and Mentor intent on Paying and Playing it Forward!
